For this month’s round of the Virtual Quilting Bee, Alicia sent us the white fabric and the teal vine print. She gave us very specific instructions which was a blessing. I liked that I didn’t have to think too hard about it.
Easy enough, huh? I am almost finished with Morgan’s block for October, too. Back with that sometime soon.
Ok, time to make the pie crust. That just didn’t happen this weekend. It might have something to do with a very fun 40th birthday party and a little too much wine. I’m just guessing though. 😉
Happy Monday
Sigh. I may never catch up on this project. And I have to admit that I’m considering — since I’m the last one and my month also happens to be my due date — just not doing mine at all. Sigh.
It sounds like that WAS a fun birthday party. I wish I could have been there. 🙂
well, anything with a little too much wine is a fun time!
A little too much wine…sounds like a perfect weekend! That quilt square turned out great…I can’t wait to see the other one up your sleeve.
Very pretty for such a simplistic block.
I just sewed a quilt top together that is just like that – only different fabric of course. This is my second quilt, and I am going to hand-quilt it now that I have it put together. I love quilting!
pretty quilt block,Erin!Glad your party went well!
Looks great!
lovely, Erin!
Ah, so now I know why you needed that nap on Sunday 😉
your block is great-I’m always amazed at the amount of prints that you have in your stash. I agree, it is a blessing that we didn’t have to think too much about this one….I still need to get around to making mine!
It looks lovely!! 🙂
Wanted to let you know that I’ll be spending a good portion of today doing some paper chains with the kids to decorate the house for Christmas & Thanksgiving, as inspired by your photos below. 🙂 Thank you!
That block is on my to-do list for today. Yours looks great.
Lovely! Sometimes it’s more fun to do the easy blocks. 🙂
Love it. Love it. Perfect fabric choices!
