I have been sewing when I have big blocks of time at home
and knitting when there are just a few minutes or when I am on the go.

They both look good! Looking forward to seeing the finished products.
Isn’t it amazing how the holidays really help you to find all that hidden crafting time that you don’t normally use….unless you have a deadline. I need to start finding it!!
I can’t wait to see how that knitting project turns out.
I’ve just been running around like a chicken with its head cut off, but I’d like to have a few spare moments.
Maybe next week…
i love seeing your work underway! i’ve been meaning to ask for ages, where do you get your ribbon labels from?
I just had the pleasure of going through every step of your swirly skirt tutorial. I hope I can find time to make one for my daughter… I certainly feel confident, since your tutorial is so clear, detailed and well done. Really it is very generous… thank you so much for sharing it with us. I can see this is a special blog and I look forward to returning soon.
you are so productive! both look great.
I love your little labels, how did you make them?
yes, please tell us about your labels!
Yes, that’s like me, too. If I have a big block of time I will sew but otherwise it’s a few rows on the knitting du jour.
When I used to quilt more, however, I would have all my pieces cut and placed in bags and that way when I had just a snippet of time, I would pull a bag out and finish a square. It was neat, quick, and left me feeling like I accomplished something.
Hi Erin, Only just discovered your lovely blog and hopped straight on the machine to learn some shirring. And what a great tutorial. My daughter loves the dress which I made up with barbie fabric. Thank you, thank you for such a fantastic tute that has taught me a new sewing skill. I used to be afraid of elastic and bobbin case used in the same sentence, but not anymore. Cheers Donna
i can’t wait to see the finished products!
I’d love to know more about the labels too! I’ve been waffling between several to buy, but love yours!
can’t wait to see what becomes of your dots!!!
I don’t seem to ever have the big chunks of time. Maybe when the next daughter goes off to school next year…….
along with everyone else, i’m always curious when i see your labels on your things. did you have them made? i love them!
ps i love your new header!
oh, erin, i’m sure you’re coming up with genius stuff. i’ve gotta get moving!
sounds like good time management! 🙂
Hi! I’ve just discoverd these post (and your inspiring blog!)and wonder how did you make your labels. If it is possible, would you please let me know? I would like to try myself too. Thanks a lot!
I buy my labels from namemaker.com. I think there are tutorials out there that give you ideas of how to make them.
