I love the shadows the afternoon sun made on the sewing room wall.
The room is almost finished. I need to hang some things and put a few more items in their proper places. Oh, and vacuum. This little room requires a very thorough vacuum job. It amazed me how many threads were on the floor once I cleaned up all the other stuff covering it. But I digress….The room is coming together nicely. I smile every time I walk in there. It’s going to be a very happy place.
The machine? Well, that is an entirely different story. The new parts came in and were installed successfully. Hooray! It just needs more new parts. Yup, more. These are covered by warranty (a pleasant surprise) and have been ordered. So I wait…
what a sweet space. nice pail, btw 🙂
Sometimes we can get so caught up in the “finished product” that its kind of nice to see you enjoying the process of getting there!
Oh, I am enjoying your non-sewing photos very much…really I am. But I know you you are chomping at the bit to get to that machine again. Now, we will all be expecting big things with that newly organized and cleaned up space. (wink) Hang in there.
I love the knitting needles in the pail. I might have to get me one of those…
Good luck on getting your sewing machine back soon.
That is a happy room. Love your decoupage needle bucket! And the shadows.
super cool picture erin! that room makes me happy too!
ahhhh! That does look like one happy spot! 🙂 Love it!
oh, man, still no machine? hang in there and embroider! and that room is going to be so gorgeous and perfect when he/she/it returns to you!
Oh, a warranty! What luck! You’ll be back in business soon. Fabulous picture – that is one amazing shadow.
What a great photo 🙂 You are destine to make some amazing things in that room! Isn’t it a nice surprise when you find things still under warranty?
Very lovely photo indeed. As for the absent sewing machine, (all be it temporary) think of it as a good thing. If you had your machine you’d be busy sewing and not organizing your sewing room! Just think of how productive you will be once you get it back. Hope that’s soon :o)
Love your needle bucket…think we need a close up of it!
I smile every time I look at my work desk and it is in the best lit part of my house – lots of happy morning sun. Too bad I don’t get much time to sit at it!!
I love the color of the room! Are those knitting needles in the bucket? You’ll be sewing in no time!
Love the colors there—-and the shadows. It’s so funny because I was going to post about the late afternoon light in my sewing space, too. It’s so relaxing to be there in that light. Enjoy your room coming together!
your room is looking lovely. I bet it is a treat to spend time in there. I know how it goes will all those threads. Everywhere.
Love the photo…looks like a wonderful corner of your sewing room! The wall paint is definitely a happy color and I love your needle bucket!
hooray for a tidy studio! love that picture. 🙂
I love that picture of the shadows! Can’t wait to see the finished room:)
