The painters just finished hanging wallpaper in our powder room. I love it! It's Lacework in ocean by Amy Butler. Did you know she designed wallpaper? I stumbled upon it and cannot believe how great it works with the green ceiling that was already there. Plus, our family room has a large navy sofa and green walls so it all flows nicely. Yay!
Now to just paint the vent to match the ceiling….
The girls are home and I'm soaking them in. Happy weekend to you all.
ack! SO fabulous erin!!!
It is gorgeous Erin! I’m in love with the whole look!!!! Now I feel Must paper something!
This is really making me change my opinion about wallpaper!
This is stunning. I’d hang out in there. š
Absolutely Gorgeous!!! But, with Amy’s name attached, how could it not. And fab that it matches your ceiling already.
Wow. Ridiculously beautiful! I’ve been loving these wallpapers, but haven’t had the nerve to actually pull the trigger … you might’ve given it to me. My musings on her wallpaper in my powder room here: http://aspiringartistry.typepad.com/aspiring_artistry/2010/06/powder-room-redo-wallpaper.html
rene took the words right out of my mouth!

It’s so pretty! I love the way the large circular pattern accentuates your round window. Repeating shapes and patterns is a top designer tip.

Yes yes yes!! I love this wallpaper, and the bathroom looks wonderful. I had planned on using one of Amy’s wallpapers in a bathroom in our new house, but the whole deal fell through when the buyers of our house had to back out. Bummer … but I am keeping your photo in my “new house” inspiration file!

Looking good!
i think i would hang out in that bathroom an awful lot.

WOW. Beautiful especially with the green ceiling.
I painted a ceiling red once and did the vent. Use plastic primer first or it will peel off. You probably knew that.
I’m excited about that bathroom & it’s not even mine!!
I love the bold pattern & the colors are to die for~
how can you not be happy looking at that?! ENJOY!
I didn’t know that she made wallpaper! Yowza!
I have SERIOUS bathroom envy.
LOVE IT!!! I was just looking at her papers yesterday. Unfortunately…I have nothing to wallpaper! š
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! esp the green ceiling!
thats worth getting excited about!
love this! I have the perfect house and bathroom for it, but after much research and finding out how much it is a roll, yikes….will need to wait awhile! It is gorgeous on the walls though!

I don’t need ANY more fabric Erin, so I’ll wish you a happy 4 year blog anniversary here on this post, ok? and we’re redoing bathrooms just as soon as I finish the playroom and the boys rooms, so this post is speaking to me…loudly!
Just beautiful!
That is beautiful! And it looks so great with the round window. My boys would freak it I put Amy Butler wallpaper anywhere. They think it’s girly, even when it’s blue…
i love it. gorgeous.
Bathroom interior design can be fun. Pictures or artwork makes the bathroom more interesting.
I have so enjoyed reading all your posts on decorating. I love the yellow plates, quite striking. The powderoom wall paper is very pretty and quite fab looking. Liked the story about the Mister and the Christmas tree, and using the upholstery pins for tacking the bedskirt to the bed–I never thought of doing that. I’d like a box pleat skirt, and I know in my mind how to make one, I was just trying to think of an easy way to attach. Your organized sewing room looks good–in fact, that’s on my list for the day here at my house. Thanks for the inspiration!
it looks really great, and with the round windoouw! You can also find awesome wallpaper Collection here.
