2000 meters of white thread later, I finished the top.
It definitely needs to be pressed, but there it is. Phew.

Erin, It’s a beauty. You’re almost there to having a finished quilt. Cannot wait to see the final quilt. How is your wrist doing? I’ve been knitting more often and wonder if it has healed. It will but will take so time.
Yay! Great job, this is so exciting! I love seeing how it’s all coming together.
It looks great! And it does look random in a very naturally talented sort of way.

And it is gorgeous. Do you plan on quilting it yourself?
It is beautiful Erin. Great job!!!! I love the colors of it.
Very pretty. I really love the colors!
Absolutely perfect!
Oh Erin! Quilting never fails to astonish me. It must take some neural pathway that I haven’t formed to take all that pattern and create something as magnificent as that. Truly. I mean, I saw your photos from your last post and thought – pretty. But all of it together? It’s gorgeous. And the funny thing about it, is that I just did not see that coming. It’s as if putting them all together and adding a border, it’s transformed. Listen to me go on and on.
Truly a work of art mama!! Awesome job!! I am inspired!
Fantastic š
It is enormously cool, just beautiful. Good for you!
i too love the white.
g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s.!!!!!!

Beautiful. For some reason it looked completely different in my head. And I love the random fabric, and the border. Brava!
It turned out great (as if I had any doubts). LOVE the piano key border–it fits the rest of the quilt perfectly!
Ali’s creative links sent me your way and I’m glad they did!! I’ve never really sewed and this quilt, the colors, the layout, the beauty, have inspired me to learn. I absolutely LOVE the quilt. BRAVO!!

It’s beautiful Erin! I’m a long time lurker I’m ashamed to say – but have to comment on this inspirational piece, and also to thank you for your gorgeous blog, and also for your generous instructions – for the quilt, and also for the pillow zipper tutorial (which I’ve used many times!).
