Good morning!
We arrived home from London on Saturday night, extremely happy and tired. We had a lovely trip – saw many sights, visited museums, met some lovely blog friends, ate wonderful meals, shopped a bit, walked and then walked some more. We're still adjusting to the time difference (waking up at 4:30 a.m. is not so much fun), but as always, it is so nice to be home. A few fruits in the garden made it extra sweet.
I have a huge desire to sew something – anything, really. I imagine I'll be back here soon with something to show or tell.
Enjoy your day.
welcome home!
Welcome back! Looking forward to seeing what you’ll make. π
Sounds like a perfect trip! Welcome back to the colonies.
Yay you’re back! I bet your garden missed you. And so now soon you’ll be bringing home Hazel too right?
sounds like you had fun…and how couldn’t you…London is a special city!
I think the time difference is always harder coming back…give it 10 days, and you’ll be back to normal.

Yay!! I’m so envious, though. London is my dream trip.
welcome home! I’ve been having that desire too for the past couple of weeks. I want to make a dress.
Welcome home!
I’m amazed how far along your garden is already.
Sounds like an amazing time! Welcome home.
Sounds like a nice time! It’s always a pleasure reading you blog!
PS- Just curious, did I miss the posting as to who won the Kaffe Fassett book?
So glad you enjoyed you trip to London. It’s great to hear from visitors. Sometimes I’m so busy just getting on with life I forget what a great city I live in.
We recently went on a trip and were greeted with lots from our garden as well. What a nice welcome home!
So jealous of your garden gems–here, in Portland, Oregon, we had so many sunless days, that our vegetables are just now starting to grow up and out. Tomato plants are just starting to show flowers usually, not many actual tomatoes yet…
glad you got home safe & sound. π
oh, want to hear about your trip. π
welcome home!
welcome home! can’t wait to hear all about it π
yeah that jet lag is hard…i remember after trips to italy coming home and id get up at 4am and then fall asleep at 7pm and through in the fact i worked nights and the time and it was a huge mess! i think i ended up watching a lot of old movies on tv at strange times!
Nothing like a trip get those creative juices flowing!
welcome home!!!
i’m just waiting for my garden to explode with goodness…yay for tomatoes.
Welcome home, I’m envious, it’s been 3 years since I’ve been back to UK! Where are those amazing shoes on your feet from?
haha, this is so funny because yours is the first blog I’m visiting after just arriving home from London ourselves today! Hope you had a great visit–we really enjoyed our time there, though I bet it was a different kind of trip with preschool/toddler boys than with school age girls π
London?! Oh, GOOD for you!! The wellies, by the way, are smashing. Welcome home.
that is funny! wasn't the weather wonderful?
Andrea – The shoes are Hunter garden clogs. I bought them at Harrod's. π
yes–even a little too hot the last few days! you could tell everyone appreciated it; it was great to walk through the parks and see people dotting all the green spaces.
hooray – so glad you enjoyed yourselves π it was brilliant meeting you all xoxo
