I always visit Purl Soho. I always leave inspired to create.
And never empty-handed.

Fun! I need to get my hands on some of that fabric . . . I’m starting to see it everywhere!
Oh, their new store looks so fantastic! When I was there, they were still in the two teeny stores.
That pic of the yarn wall makes me want to start crocheting again. I need to dump all my old synthetic yarn and buy up some natural skeins with my birthday money. If you happen to have a suggestion for a cotton or wool yarn that’s affordable but nice for blanket type things, please let me know!
I’ll be there next week and Purl is on the top of my list to visit. Last time I was there they were still in the two tiny shops. I’m excited to see the new space and pick out a few souvenirs :o)
Rachel – I'd ask at the yarn store. The ladies here are always great at finding good values for me.
they were teeny! and the new space has a workroom in back that is bigger than purl patchwork was if that gives you an idea of how nice the combined store is.
looks like a fun and inspiring trip! welcome home.
Sigh. Makes me want to jump on a plane. That’s a very enticing looking pile you purchased!
Looks like heaven. I really wish I had gotten there on my last trip. But when in NY it’s just so hard to fit it ALL in! Thankfully I can visit vicariously through friends. š
ooh, that’s just the fabric I’d buy too!
Glad you had a nice visit to Purl! I love their new shop.
i have wee wonderful plans for some of them. š
Eek! Want to go again!! It’s my #1 NYC destination. Honestly.
you have such great taste in colors and fabric! what’s the yarn destined to become?
oooo,yummy, yummy grays!!!!
in the last photo, do i see fabric with chickens on it? love it!
the new store is so amazing, isn’t it? i miss that place.
oh, i can't imagine what i would do if it were close by.
call me next time so i can come join!
Love those grays! And can’t wait to see what you’ll do with them.
Lucky girl!! Fabrics look great, lovely combination, and Fatty looks very patience. When I go with my husband to buy some fabric, he just walks around.
Lovely day!!
Hi Erin
I love the fabric you choose. Who makes the top two grey fabrics?
Thanks for your help
Claire

Thou shalt not covet… Thou shalt not covet…
A friend and I visited this shop on a recent trip to NY and fell in love! Too bad we live in North Carolina š
I told my husband that I want to plan a trip back just so I can visit this wonderful little shop again!
looks like paradise! how fun!
